Spatial Microsimulation for Population Health

Published on by Jesse Wiki

This project uses spatial microsimulation modelling to create synthetic datasets of various population health outcomes in Aotearoa New Zealand. These outcomes include well-being, mental health, health status, and healthcare costs for adults (aged 15+ years). It combines individual-level survey data with geographically aggregated area-level data to produce spatial datasets of a synthetic nationwide population based on linking variables, utilising iterative proportional fitting.
