The MOLASSES lava flow model was used to create the attached dataset. Please see https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/gsa/geology/article/46/10/895/548206/A-new-approach-to-probabilistic-lava-flow-hazard for more information about MOLASSES. The attached data set is meant to supplement the Determining Volcanic Risk in Auckland (DEVORA) eruptive scenarios. Please see http://shop.gns.cri.nz/2018-029-pdf/ for the original scnearios. The attached lava flow modelling replaces the lava flow modelling in the original scenarios and may be referred to as version 1.1 of the scenarios. Please note that only the final lava flow extents have been modelled. There is no temporal footprint series presented in this version of the scenarios. Three of the DEVORA scenarios have been supplemented in this data set. They are the Birkenhead scneario, the Mt Eden suburb scenario, and the Otahuhu scenario. In the Birkenhead scneario, both of the lava flows were modelled. The same data is provided for each of the scenarios according to the file structure and indicated file types below.
