This project is conducted by Yan Zhang and supervised by Gavin Brown and Jason Stephens.

The project examines the degree to which there is alignment or discrepancy between assessment policy and practice between the formal college-based instruction and the internship workplace instruction. Data are collected in Guangdong province of PRC and focuses on post-secondary polytechnic vocational and technical education. The project used structured topic modeling to examine policy statements about assessment practices in workplace and college environments.

The first formal output is the attached conference presentation which can be cited as: Zhang, Y., Stephens, J. M., Brown, G. T. L. (2024, July).
