This report first looks at the key learning challenges for students arising from COVID-19, particularly for disadvantaged students, using a scoping study. It then reviews a number of programmes already available which could be used to address the learning needs identified, including critical thinking. Programmes which have solid evidence for learning enhancement, particularly for disadvantaged children, were chosen for review.

Report was completed April 2022.
