<p dir="ltr">Ngā Ara Whetū Submission to the Ministry for the Environment on the draft Long-term Investment Briefing, October 2022. Ngā Ara Whetū recommends adding three key drivers: land use change, the role of misinformation, current structures and systems which incentivise un-sustainable activities. The Centre propose the addition of a fourth challenge for greater interconnectedness with the environment, and implementing a focused research approach to evidence-based methods. A recommendation is made to include five further leverage points, and additional comments relating to time pressures, leading on environmental values, and specific bold goals.</p>
