This patent landscape snapshot is centred on insights relating to the field of plant derived bioactives for functional foods and beverages. Our scope covers the past 10 years on any naturally sourced plant extract, isolate or other bioactive from any plant material. For example, bioactives or extracts may include proteins or peptides, oligosaccharides, carbohydrates, polyphenols, or fatty acids to name just a few. Our search excludes the likes of recombinant or GM technologies, synthetics, and probiotics.
