<p dir="ltr">This report is on extensive qualitative research on specific Metabolic, Digestive and Immunity health issues in Shanghai</p><p dir="ltr">Plant and Food Research conducted a quantitative survey of the Chinese population to determine the extent to which the themes arising from prior qualitative interviews were represented in the population</p><p dir="ltr">In addition to exploring lifestyle and demographic differences between Condition and Control Groups, the following specific themes were also investigated:</p><p dir="ltr">• General health and importance of being healthy</p><p dir="ltr">• Barriers to a healthy lifestyle</p><p dir="ltr">• Healthy eating habits</p><p dir="ltr">• Access to information about health and wellbeing</p><p dir="ltr">• Trust in foods and beverages with health claims</p><p dir="ltr">• Use of medicines, multivitamins and supplements</p><p dir="ltr">• Interest in functional foods</p><p dir="ltr">• Food safety</p><p dir="ltr">• Travel and cooking as hobbies</p><p dir="ltr">• Digestion and intestinal problems</p><p dir="ltr">• Smog and air pollution</p><p dir="ltr">• Wellbeing and exercise</p>
