Social Media and the Doc Student

This presentation advises doctoral students on the advantages of various free social media resources they can use to disseminate their research and ideas as well as network with other colleagues. Examples are given from my own participation in Figshare, Twitter, ResearchGate, The University of Auckland Profile, Google Scholar, OrcID, Clarivate Web of Science, blogging, and YouTube.
