Different communities have diverse needs, aims and priorities for the knowledge they hold and create. How these communities are engaged and communicated with is important to ensure there is a sense of stewardship of their shared knowledge as a valuable taonga, while enabling it to be open to the world.
This one-hour online session will take the form of a panel discussion with researchers and research advocates exploring Open Access. How can OA be utilised to help build and strengthen communities? In what ways do open publications and resources facilitate positive change for communities?
