Originally presented at a webinar on 15 April 2021, this slide deck describes a few quick tips and best practices for anyone wanting to know the basics of high performance computing on NeSI. NeSI Research Communities Advisor Nooriyah Lohani presented several mini-topics geared towards users who are new to HPC environments and command line navigation including:

- NeSI file structure,
- Secure Copy (SCP) and data transfer basics, and
