Lenore Tahara-Eckl: Poorer executive function is associated with lower white matter fibre density in the superior longitudinal fasciculus in groups at risk of Alzheimer’s disease

We investigated the relationship between the white matter tract in the brain,  the superior longitudinal fasciculus,  and executive function in groups at risk of Alzheimer’s disease. SLF changesmay provide a very early biomarker as this was detected in individuals with subjective memory impairment prior to apparent cognitive decline.
