<p>Do plant pathogens require all their effectors to cause disease, or just a few? Effector proteins help pathogens invade hosts and suppress immunity. <em>Pseudomonas syringae</em> pv. <em>actinidiae</em> (Psa) is an emergent kiwifruit pathogen with many effectors, providing a unique opportunity to understand how host selection shapes pathogen evolution.</p><p>This poster was uploaded for the SGS Research Showcase 2022.  </p> <p>Choose your favourite poster for the <a href="https://auckland.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8613JNN2s8WgO1g" target="_blank">SGS Research Showcase People's Choice Award: Academic Poster category</a>.</p>
