The "PLAY Reidentification Machine" is a design alternative to the consumption-driven entertainment of traditional shopping mall. Prioritizing community engagement, this open playground promotes freedom and counters the monotony of mall-centric spaces. It features elements that resonate with collective memories and cultural references familiar to children and teenagers from varied backgrounds. This concept bridges the gap between Sylvia Park Mall's urbanites and the residential suburbanites, using play as a pivotal tool for urban renewal and connection.
