Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common neurodegenerative disease. Previous in vitro and human transcriptomic studies have identified key molecular pathways associated with astrocytes, microglia, and AD progression. We have characterized potential drug targets involving glia to treat AD at the protein level using immunohistochemistry on tissue microarrays.
