This video showcases the social media promotion for my presentation, "Unlocking Pianistic Potential — Establishing Coordinated Movement in Student Pianists," delivered at the 2023 Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare (ASPAH) conference. Presented under the "Practitioner Wisdom" category, the session focused on enhancing piano performance and pedagogy through interdisciplinary insights. The session introduced a practical, comprehensive training method to help student pianists develop coordinated movement skills, paving the way for sustainable and expressive piano performance. As a PhD candidate in Music at the University of Auckland, I highlight how efficient body use and optimal movement patterns enhance sound quality while reducing the risk of playing-related injuries.
