This photograph shows light passing across my wall, which has been transferred onto cloth. Focusing on a range of intimate interior spaces, my thesis explores the traces of inhabitation that can be used to document home. My practice involves touch— textures layered by hand, and then rubbed away, leaving behind remnants. It is in this transference that I am able to project myself into the space. To capture this relationship between the figure and home and the actions that take place between the two. Home must be seen as a verb, rather than a noun that resides within four walls.
