Timing of onset and cumulative number of diagnosed cases of subclinical hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism after oil-soluble contrast medium (OSCM) hysterosalpingography (OSCM HSG) in the SELFI Study: A) subclinical hypothyroidism; B) subclinical (grey bars) and overt (black bars) hyperthyroidism. 

Data exclude all visits at or after the participants started on thyroxine treatment and or the visits at/or after a participant became pregnant. Subclinical hypothyroidism: TSH >4mIU/L and FT4 ≥11 but ≤22 pmol/L at any assessment; overt hypothyroidism: TSH >10 mIU/L and FT4 <11 pmol/L at any assessment post-HSG; subclinical hyperthyroidism: TSH < 0.3 mIU/L and FT4 ≥11 but ≤22 pmol/L at any assessment; and overt hyperthyroidism: TSH<0.3 and FT4 >22 pmol/L at any assessment.
