A person and a robot explore the environment, leaving trails of light that capture the relationship between their actions and sensations. Each thread symbolises how movement generates sensory feedback, revealing patterns of exploration through which perceptual experience can be understood. My research investigates the dynamics of people exploring new sensory-motor relationships, using minimal models inspired by computational approaches. By comparing human and agent-produced behaviour, similarities and differences may reveal themselves, providing insights into how we as humans perceive the world around us.
