Identifying suitable donors for faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is complex, costly, and time-consuming. Here, we present the donor data set for the gut bugs trial. This is published as part of Donor screening outcomes for faecal microbiota transplantation: from recruitment to encapsulation.
