Source code [Julia] for an individual-based model of northern Aotearoa-New Zealand forests as described in Simpkins et al. (2024).

This project implements a spatially explicit individual-based model representing the dynamics of canopy and understory in a New Zealand based forest fragment. The model has been parameterised on data collected primarily in northern New Zealand. This version of the model has been implemented in [Julia](https://julialang.org/) making extensive use of the [Agents.jl](https://juliadynamics.github.io/Agents.jl/stable/) package.
