Hyperspectral images of sediment samples collected in the Whangateau Harbour

This data contains the supplementary data for the article "Evolving Multispectral Sensor Configurations Using Genetic Programming for Estuary Health Monitoring". This dataset contains hyperspectral images of sediment with corresponding ground-truth measurements of porosity and organic matter content. Three items are included:

1. Sediment_reference.xlsx: Contains the ground-truth measurements for the porosity and organic matter of the 150 cells of the quadrats measured.
2. Hyperspectral folder: Contains all hyperspectral images of the cells of the quadrats captured as Numpy data files.
3. ROI folder: Contains the masks for each hyperspectral image, segmenting the specular highlights
