Description: There is growing concern about the health impacts of pollution, with increased industrialisation and population growth causing people to work and live in areas with poor air quality. Fruits and vegetables can contain various bioactives that have been reported to impact on airway inflammation, tissue remodelling and immune function. The overall aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of a Boysenberry and apple juice beverage consumption in reducing ozone-induced lung inflammation and maintaining normal lung function.
