Estrus specific uterine meshes
Estrus specific uterine meshes
General information
The meshes were created from micro-computed tomography data of the rat uterine muscle layers. There is one mesh per estrus stage. The meshes were annotated with the fibre orientations extracted from the micro-computed tomography data using structure tensors. The angles were coloured based on the angle relative to the centerline of the uterine horns. The meshes use tetrahedral elements and are scaled in cm.
Contents
This item contains anatomically realistic meshes in different formats. The vtk folder contains the meshes that can be viewed in Paraview. The tetgen folder contains the same meshes in the .tet format used for simulations in Chaste. The annotated folder contains the vtk meshes annotated with the fibre orientations.
