Data and Software for "Temperature-induced nonlinear elastic behavior in Berea sandstone explained by a modified sheared contacts model"
This repository contains all the raw experimental data and software (including the modified sheared contacts model) used for the processing, analysis, and plotting in the manuscript "Temperature-induced nonlinear elastic behavior in Berea sandstone explained by a modified sheared contacts model" by Jonathan Simpson, Kasper van Wijk, Ludmila Adam, and Lionel Esteban. The code is written in Python, and was run on a laptop with Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. This code should work standalone, provided the necessary Python libraries are installed. The supplementary information file attached to the manuscript is also included here.
Much of this software relies on the Python PlaceScan package, available at https://github.com/jsimpsonUoA/PlaceScan. PlaceScan is a required package for running this code. All experimental data was acquired with PLACE, the lab automation software (see https://github.com/PALab/place). Some of the code also uses the Python library that can be found here: https://github.com/jsimpsonUoA/DaetPy
