Originally presented at a 1-hour NeSI webinar in May 2020, this presentation walks through what researchers should know when getting started with Git version control. The slides cover:
- Terminology - what do things like push, pull, clone, local, and remote mean,
- how to setup and maintain a git repository, and
- how to use GitHub for collaboration
