Presented at the International Society for Biomechanics meeting, Brisbane, 2017. This study examines whether overlapping portions of muscle maps from proximal (FDI) and distal (AD) muscles are preferentially excited when the two muscles are involved in a synergistic task, compared to when they are activated independently.
